- At first, 1 diced onion
- 4 tablespoons of oil, which can be whatever you have in your pantry
- Now, 1/2 green bell bell pepper, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, chopped or even crushed
- 1/2 red bell bell pepper, preferably already diced
- 2 slices of skinless Calabrian sausage, grated if possible
- Then, 1 glass of sliced hearts of palm, which can be bought in most markets
- 1/3 cup tomato sauce of any brand, this won't influence it
- 2 diced tomatoes, preferably deseeded
- 1 can of green corn, whichever brand you prefer, already drained
- then,5 tablespoons of green olives which can be bought in most shops
- 1 vegetable stock cube of the quality you are used to consuming
- 2 cups filtered water or even drinking water
- Salt and red pepper sauce in the proportion you are used to eating
- 1 cup corn flour of any brand
- In addition, 3 tablespoons of cassava flour of the quality you like best
- 1 can of canned peas, preferably already drained
- Now, 2 eggs, preferably hard-boiled and chopped
- Oil to grease the couscous so it doesn't stick together
- At first, 2 tablespoons of fresh green smell and leave it chopped.
- 1 sliced tomato for decoration and a special touch
- 5 slices of fried Calabrian sausage to decorate and flavor your couscous
- 1 sliced hard-boiled egg to decorate and give it a special touch
- Palm hearts, peas and olives to add to your couscous
Step by step to prepare delicious couscous with pepperoni
First, fill a baking dish, preferably one with a hole in the middle, with oil and add the slices of pepperoni, tomatoes, egg, palm hearts, olives and peas.
In a large saucepan, add the onion and garlic and sauté for 2 minutes, then add the pepperoni and calabrese and let them sauté.
To do this, pour the peas, corn, tomato sauce, tomatoes, vegetable stock and hearts of palm into a little water and season with salt and pepper.
Even so, let it come to the boil and add the incorporated flours, then cook for 4 minutes or until they come away from the bottom.
In the same way, remove from the heat, add the green peppercorns and egg and place in a mould, pressing down with a spoon to make it firm.
