Ingredients for the churros pie on a platter 

• Creamy dulce de leche, sugar and cinnamon powder to decorate your pie
• 1 and 1/2 packets of 300g cornstarch cookies, if possible already crushed
• 4 tablespoons of margarine or even butter, you decide
• 1 white of a fresh, large egg

Filling

• 1 tablespoon of cornstarch of any brand, this will not influence your recipe
• 2 cups of whole milk of the brand you are used to buying
• 1 and 1/2 cans of condensed milk, whichever brand you prefer
• 2 yolks of two large, fresh eggs
• 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder from whichever brand you can find
• 200g diced dulce de leche, or even dulce de leche candies 

How to make churros pie on a platter 

Now, in a bowl of your choice, add the crushed cookies with the margarine and the egg whites and stir until a moist flour forms. 

Then take a pretty baking dish of your choice, put this mixture in the bottom and bake for 6 to 8 minutes.

Remove the baking dish from the oven and set aside to use straight away.

Now, in a saucepan, add the condensed milk, the cornstarch, preferably already dissolved in the milk, the egg yolks and a little cinnamon over medium heat.

In the same way, stir until it thickens, then leave to cool and stir in the diced dulce de leche.

Spread the mixture evenly on top and refrigerate for an average of 2 hours.

Then, after taking it out of the fridge, you can decorate it with some milk sweets, icing sugar and cinnamon.

Finally, that long-awaited moment of eating a piece of this delicious churro pie has arrived.
