1. Set up Face ID to unlock

Go to: Settings > Face ID & Passcode (Enter your passcode, if you don't have one you must create one to continue) > Set Up

Scan your face twice to complete the process by holding the phone in front of your face and following the instructions shown on the screen.

After you set up Face ID, you can unlock your iPhone by looking at it.

2. Create your own “Memoji”

After performing the first step of unlocking the settings with Face ID, we can activate the rest of the Mobile Applications.

One of the most heard tricks for iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR is being able to create your own Memoji.

To create your custom avatar:

Go to Messages > Memoji > swipe left and tap “+” (new Memoji)

When you’re done editing your Emoji, tap the “Done” button at the top of the screen to save it. You can now start using it in your interactions.

3. Enable Apple Pay on iPhone

To pay via Apple Pay, you need to double-click the power button and look at the terminal (ID recognition) to unlock it and confirm our identity.

So, to add a credit card on iPhone XS:

• Go to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay > then Add Card
• Let your bank know what you want to use the card for before using it.
• Double tap the lock button on the right side of your iPhone, the phone will scan your face to approve the purchase. 

Otherwise, if Face ID is not set up correctly, it will force you to enter your passcode.

4. Restart your iPhone

Now, if your iPhone crashes or you need to force a restart on the terminal, you should do the following:

• Press and hold the side button and either volume button until the slider appears.
• Slide the slider like this to completely turn off your device.
• After the device turns off, you must press and hold the side button again until the Apple logo appears on your smartphone's screen.
