Ingredients for making baked cod with catupiry cream 

• 1 kg of preferably fresh cod
• 2 cloves of garlic to give a special touch
• 1 red pepper, diced or sliced
• 1 green pepper, sliced or even diced
• 3 tomatoes, preferably already chopped and ripe
• 1 onion, preferably sliced
• 1 cup of olives, pitted and chopped into small cubes
• Oregano in the proportion you deem necessary

Mashed potatoes 

• 1 kg of medium-sized potatoes, preferably already cooked and mashed
• 2 tablespoons of butter or margarine, it's up to you
• 1/2 cup whole milk of any brand
• Salt and in the proportion you understand is necessary

Cream

• First, 1 cup of catupiry, preferably original.
• 1 can of cream, if possible without whey
• 1 glass of coconut milk (200 ml) of any brand

How to prepare the recipe for baked cod with Catupiry cream

First of all, make the mash with the mashed potatoes and add the butter and milk to the potatoes while they are still hot and stir until incorporated.

Now, transfer this puree to a pretty ovenproof dish of your choice and arrange it like a pie crust.

In the meantime, in a pan, sauté the desalted cod for about five to seven minutes until you notice that it can be flaked.

In the same way, in a pan with plenty of olive oil, fry the cod together with the onion and garlic to give it a special touch.

Then add the peppers and tomatoes and let them cook for about 10 minutes until they are well cooked.

So, don't let the cod get dry and add oregano in the proportion you want.

Now, place the cod on top of the mashed potatoes and start preparing the catupiry cream.

First, add all the cream ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.

Then, pour over the cod and bake for an average of 3 to 5 minutes until golden brown.
